The Vintage Motorcycle Meet is the second Sunday of every month, which would be November 10th, 2 p.m. to 4 pm. About 80 to 150 bikes is the range and they include a good array of older vintage bikes to today's rockets. You can enter your bike for best of show or just park and display. If you want to...

Gas Cap Leakage

Hmm...I may have a cap-to-tank gap then that allows slight amounts of fuel to escape. Thanks for your responses. I'll quiz the folks at the Vintage Bike Meet in Huntington Beach, CA at the November meet. One of the few places that I've even seen another 305 Scrambler in So Cal.

Gas Cap Leakage

You are not experiencing leakage when your tank is not totally filled, but full enough to get sloshing around the filler opening? Thanks.

66 Scrambler

Great photo of bike, Plymouth, your son? Your bike badges are very hard to get now in good condition. Hopefully, yours are still in good shape. Hang on to them! My
'66 has the metal after market badges. They work, but aren't original. Good luck on your restoration!

Thanks for the tip. I can understand the "don't apply too much pressure". I'll check the product you mentioned, but I don't think I've ever seen it in any of the auto parts stores here. Since you are in Europe, this might not be distributed in the U.S. I'll check for substitutes also.
