1964 CA77 Speedometer

I recently located an original 1964 Speedometer/Odometer<br />in Kilometers instead of MPH, it was an earlier production model, without the high beam indicator, does anyone know where I shoud connect the one brown wire that is attached, I am assuming it should be grounded, although I am wondering if...
