as long as he used some good paint and clear coat you should be all right. Some paints hold up to gas others not so good.

Ahh the joy of old machines. Nothing a hammer, a torch, and a big pipe can't take care of. It'll come off one way or another.

I got it apart last night, a little pb blaster and a wrench with a pipe on it. and off it came. Thanks for the help.

I've got the front end ripped down to the square nut and can't figure out how it comes off, I didn't know if the square nut turns or not, didn't want to force it without knowing. Also if some one has a pic of how the wiring should look on the battery side cover side of the bike. That would be very h...

A lot of old bikes people take the batteries out of and never put the covers back on then sits around for years and gets lost.

It's the only decent asian bike parts swap meet around, The only local junk yard Is really expensive So I usually stick with ebay and cra...
