Installing new mufflers on the CB250 I faced this problem on just one side. While the right side muffler fitted fine, the left side one was about 5cm off position. Oil leaking

There's oil leaking from behind the points. The side cover gasket is fine.
I’ve been told that it can be the o-ring or - worse - worn shaft.
Any clue about it before I open pandora’s jar? Thanks.

Ground

You're right, Esteve. The green has a split which grounds. The diagram shows the green going to front and rear indicators where it grounds also. So is it a regulator as well? What's a 'potted' sd rectifier? Should I ignore the unconnected yellow? Is it an improvement to have the rectifier moved from...
