Thanks for the reply, but yes the timing is spot on. I did Ed's tuning recipe one better and checked the timing with a timing light and it is correct. Also I have two sets of pilot jets that say 42 on them, and the holes are totally different sizes. I was using the needles from the rebuild kit and t...

Help with carbs on 1967 CB77

Okay here is the deal. Been trying to get this bike back on the road for a year now of and on. The carbs have been giving me fits. I have never so much trouble getting a bike to run correctly in all the 100 bikes I have restored over the years. Anyway, problem is, it will start right up and idle bea...

The mufflers look okay in this picture but they are all rotted out underneath and full of holes. The shock must just look that way in the picture because here in the living room it looks fine.

Do you know who is selling the repos in MD? Is there a website or anything?

Thanks again,

Rob

Dream Exhaust

Anyone have any idea where I can find nice original mufflers for my 1966 Dream 250? She is almost done and looking pretty good. Still have to decide how to make the engine look better, but she runs great. I just need some new original style mufflers.

Thanks in advance,

Rob Hatfield

No offense, but I don't check this forum daily, so if you feel it was a waste of time for you then fine. I am usually out in the garage working on my bikes, not sitting in the house on the computer. Anyway, I particularly like the wheels. I think the white rims is a nice touch. Not real fond of the ...

1967 Superhawk Restoration questions

Hello all, I am working on my 1967 Superhawk restoration. The way I like to do things is to get everything working and running well, then tear it all apart for paint/chrome/powder coating. Here are my questions: 1. What tires are you guys running and are still available? I am having a hard time find...

Correct Needles for a CB77

Hello all, I have a 1967 Superhawk. I finally have it running on both cylinders and the problem turned out to be that every rebuild kit I got had different parts in them, even though they were supposed to be for a superhawk. My question is what kind of needle am I supposed to have in these carbs. Th...
