The CL77 float valve needle and seat come in sizes 1.8, 2.0 and 2.5. Does the size really matter as long as the needle and seat match?

The needle valve on my CL77 seems to be sticking too, both open and closed. I've taken it apart and there is a little play between the needle and the seat channel and I think it must get a little cocked and can stick either way.

I believe the cl72's are 250 cc and earlier models. CL77's are 305 cc.<br />
