I've never noticed any that were anything but raw aluminium. I couldn't say from any example I have owned whether they may be clear coated or not!

350 wont work because of the transfer tube, it is part of the 305 petcock and it's not on the 350 were it's a seperate fitting on the tank it's self. I am not a 305 expert yet so this info may be year or model specific. Anyone is welcome to chime in and correct me if I'm wrong!

The sprag clutch on the kick starts are notoriously weak on these things. If you can get it to turn over by any means, check the electrics and give'r a go!! Kick it, push the button, roll start it, what ever! and PLEASE post some pics for those of us who live precariously through others!
