If the motor isn't junk, in my opinion,that would be a good buy.If it isn't locked up and has some compression,I would take a chance.They are fun to work on,and there are a few parts out there for sale,some affordable,some not.Keys can be made off the number on your switch.Do a search on here.I reme...

For what its worth, if you want to save a few bucks,and your not concerned about originality,go down to your local Autozone and by a quart of Duplicolor "Body Shop" paint. It's pre-mixed ready to spray lauquer.I cant recall the name of the silver,but they only have one.For $20 a quart you can't beat...

Excellent-Thanks for the info.Hope that is a somewhat common seal at the bearing supplier,haven't really seen it listed on e-pay or retrobikes.

Another leaker

After replacing the clutch rod seal and getting that leak stopped,now I've got oil running out behind the points cover.I suppose there is a cam bearing seal behind the points plate? Can this be fixed without a major teardown?
