Your bike is probably a '64. The '63 models had six digit numbers that began with a 3. These bikes are usually referred to as CA77's. What are you trying to find out? As far as paint affecting the value of the bike, definitely. People are drawn to these bikes for their own reasons, but bikes that are as close to stock as possible will bring the most return. Having trouble finding anyt...

I will upload a couple of scans of tire treads. I haven't heard many good comments on Coker tires for riders. Are you thinking show bike? I believe that Joe Weir got some tires from J.C. Whitney that he uses on his everyday rider. Maybe we can get him to weigh in.
